Winter bathing is hugely popular in Scandinavia, with long waiting lists for club memberships. To meet this demand, Glaecier built one of Copenhagen’s largest floating panoramic saunas, designed for easy relocation and expansion.

The houseboat’s layout was refined to create a seamless flow from dock to sauna and pool. Located in Refshaleøen’s historic shipyard, the project respects strict preservation rules while contributing to the area’s new experimental spirit.

Involved in the early stage of the project, I worked on sketching out basic floorplans, building 3D concepts, scaled mock-ups and technical drawings. While I lacked formal architectural training, I focused on developing detailed conceptual ideas, which were then handed over to experienced architects for execution.
